Fiber Drop Bury Installation

Fiber Drop Bury Installation

This project involved installing underground fiber drops to connect service locations to the main network. Our crew placed fiber lines from the network access point to each service location using several installation methods depending on the ground conditions and property layout. To complete the work efficiently while minimizing disruption, we used cable plowing, directional drilling, missile boring, and trenching where necessary. Each fiber drop was routed carefully and installed at the proper depth to ensure long-term protection of the cable. Once the fiber was installed, the lines were connected and prepared for service activation. All work areas were restored after installation so the property remained in clean condition.

Scope of Work

The goal of this project was to install underground fiber drops while maintaining safe installation practices and protecting existing utilities.

Reliable Underground Fiber Installation

Installing fiber drops requires the right equipment and proper installation methods to protect the cable and avoid damage to existing utilities. Our crew selected the best installation method for each location, whether it required plowing, drilling, missile boring, or trenching. By using the proper equipment and maintaining clean installation practices, the fiber network was installed safely and prepared for reliable long-term service.
