Cable Installation Technician - Denver, CO

CM Cable LLC is hiring Cable Technicians to perform cable installation and service work for residential and light commercial customers. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who are motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable working in the field. No prior cable experience is required—training is available for the right candidates. Technicians are paid per completed job, offering strong earning potential based on productivity.

Position Overview

Cable Technicians work in homes, apartment buildings, and commercial properties to install and maintain communication cabling for broadband and related services. The work includes routing coax and service boxes, connecting equipment, and preparing services for activation.

Cable Technicians are responsible for completing clean, service-ready installations from the service entry point to the customer location. The role includes routing cable, installing outlets and house boxes, connecting equipment, and preparing each job for activation and future maintenance.

  • Install, maintain, and service cable TV and internet systems
  • Run and secure coaxial cable inside and outside homes
  • Install outlets, wall plates, modems, and related equipment
  • Activate services and verify proper signal levels
  • Troubleshoot basic connectivity and service issues
  • Complete required job documentation and photos
  • Maintain clean, professional job sites
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch

This role requires practical field skills, clean workmanship, and the ability to complete cable installations the right way. Technicians should be comfortable routing cable, working in finished spaces, following provider standards, and keeping installations organized and service-ready.
